FREE- Parent Outdoor Education Workshop
September 28 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 amFree
Getting kids outside to learn and play is good for their bodies and their brains. In this free workshop with Early Childhood Education Consultant Carrie Becker and Kidzu’s Outdoor Programs Manager, Elsemarie Mullins, we will spend time exploring ways to encourage scientific thinking while playing outdoors. Register here!
When: September 28th, from 9:30 -10:30 am
Where: Kidzu Children’s Museum
Details: Pre-registration is required and spaces are limited. Children over the age of 3 may come with their parents. Admission to the museum is $5/person (normally $8.50/person) for workshop participants.
The workshop will consist of two parts–one indoors and one outside in Kidzu’s Learning Garden. There will be a 25 minute presentation for adults at the beginning, and children will be taken to the garden to play and learn with Kidzu staff. Then, adults will join the children outdoors for the rest of the workshop!
