As part of our weekly STEAM’D Up! program on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00-5:00pm, visitors were invited to create a collaborative 3D recycled town, appropriately named KidzuVille! After laying out important features of the town, such as roads, buildings and cars, kids were encouraged to get creative and design whatever they could imagine! From rockets to libraries to wind turbines, kids enjoyed using recycled materials from the Makery Scrapyard to bring their designs to life. We even had some help from members of the UNC Football team! Take a look and see if you can find your creation in the picture above OR stop by Kidzu later this week to add another invention to our town.
